Cherry Jewelry Box

 Jewelry  box made of cherry, mitered joints and walnut splines.  The size is  10x7x7.  It includes a removable tray and a drawer made out of walnut  with cherry splines and wine felt covering the bottoms. The lid has a  sculpted design on the front and an inlaid hummingbird.  The hummingbird  is inlaid with a malachite stone body along with  mother of pearl and  red opal for the neck.  The wings are carborundum and green turquoise.   The beak is jet and the finish is polyurethane.  The front has a decorative design with jet inlay. This box is finished  with antique brass 90 degree stop hinges and a small drawer pull with  custom handmade feet. The laser work was done by RoseAngelArt.com.
