Flute Box

Custom  hand-made flute box with walnut base and cherry lid.  The joints are  mitered with cherry dove-tail splines.  The bottom inside is blue suede  with the nest made of walnut and leather bindings.  This box has been  finished with 6 coats of wipe on polyurethane buffed out to 3000 grit.   The lid is cherry and walnut.  The horse and corners are inlaid with  jet.  The inside back corners have mother of pearl inlaid circles.  The  inside measurements of the box are 30 1/2 x5x4.   The lid is attached with replicated hand forged hinges and a  decorative clasp on the front.
